Actually I thought it was funny because Breda is a city in the Netherlands. The name means 'wide water', because it's the place where the river Aa becomes wider, and Aa comes from the Old Germanic word ahwo, which means water.

So I just thought 'wide water' was a funny name for a sim. ;)
