I had some time to kill this weekend and didn't want to work on anything too intense, so I played around with some clothing recolors... and, as usual, ended up doing WAY more than I had anticipated.

* Oh! One more thing. Some of these models are wearing as of yet unreleased freckles. I plan on posting those in the next couple of days - just waiting on my husband to finish up some models for me. Consider it a sneak peek. ;)

I don't know if the clothes thing will be ongoing, it was just an experiment... but it was super fun, so I might try more. :P

And those fashion twist jeans are fantastic! I love that they look realistic without being too photo-skin-y, you know? They're like, the perfect blend.

And I agree! They are the perfect blend. They even can go into a maxis match hood(which I have) without sticking out like a sore thumb. And since these are recolors they won't take up that much space! And I meant to add(I miss the edit button of LJ):

Hah, well then, I will definitely take a peek through my stuff and see if I can find anything else that needs recoloring. :D

And yes! More freckles. I have a bit of a freckle fetish, and had a request for some more. And I was happy to oblige.

Do you take request? I was just going through my favorite sites again(redoing downloads is a pain!!) and I've always loved these pants(on page eight) but they only come in the two colors. Just a thought! It's not a big deal if you don't take requests or have other things on your plate!!:)

Sure, I'd recolor those for you. I am working on an eye set at the moment, as well as a few other clothing recolors... but I will definitely add those to my list, and get to them as soon as humanly possible.

I don't know if doing requests is really something I'd like to make a habit of... I generally prefer to create things that I want in my own game. But I am definitely not opposed to suggestions and such, and will definitely do requests when they work for me.

No no, I will do it! That's something that I actually WOULD use in my game. I'm sorry if you misunderstood... I was just trying to say that I don't want to make a habit of doing requests, as I don't have a LOT of free time and would prefer to create things that I want. But those jeans are awesome, and I'd love to play around with them, for sure.

The textures look wonderful and the colors are just win! Looking forward to those freckles you mentioned too. Can never, NEVER get enough of them. All shall be thoroughly abused very shortly! :P

The textures are mainly unchanged, but I'm so glad you like the colors! It was just a lot of fiddling with the hue and saturation sliders. :P

And yay, freckles! I am planning to force my husband to create sims tonight, so I can take the previews and upload the freckles.

Yeah... cardigans are like, my very favorite article of clothing to ever exist. When my husband saw what I had recolored, he looked at me and was like, 'seriously, cardigans?' with one eyebrow all raised.

I might be somewhat obsessed.
